    Are there different types of coaching?

    There are two basic types of coaching: Personal life coaching and specialized coaching. Personal life coaching applies a professional set of principles and skills that apply across a variety of life situations. Specialized coaches use these same principles combined with their expertise in a specific area. Both personal and specialized coaching have an appropriate time and place. Some coaches offer both personal and specialized coaching.

    Personal coaches help you in your current priority, with the idea that you are working toward great life. A personal coach might help you with relationships, career, finances, retirement, personal vision, spirituality, life transitions, fitness & wellness, recreation and vacations.

    Specialized coaches address specific areas or types of people: business, executives, entrepreneurs, leadership, organizational development, time management, marketing, sales, communication, and other specialized skills.
