Description of Services
I provide personal coaching services, a highly evolved form of personal
training and development. Coaching occurs in four stages:
Clarification: I use my professional training and broad experience
to bring you new insight into yourself and your goals. You'll develop
a focus for coaching. We may decide to continue exploring your needs
and desires. More likely, though, we will move quickly into the next
stage.
Action Planning: Once you have a focus, I help you to generate
many alternative paths to your goal. Small steps will make it easy and
do-able. You'll know exactly how to arrive at your goal. More importantly,
you'll know that your goal is clearly achievable. You'll recognize certain
subjects that you need to know more about. I'll help you learn about
these subjects, including setting priorities for training.
Structure and Support: I’ll guide you to structure your efforts
by being specific and maintaining focus. In each session, you'll select
specific steps to work on. I’ll help you to prepare for each step
so you can spend more time achieving your goals and less time worrying
about how to do it. I’ll provide advanced insights and coaching
to help you advance toward your goal.
You'll assess progress. I'll hold you
accountable in the way you want to be held accountable. I'll remind
you of your motivations, and encourage you. I'll help you recognize
your genius and power at work. If your plan isn't working, I help you
generate new options.
Celebrate: When you reach your goal or a milestone, you'll invent
great, new ways to celebrate. You'll celebrate your efforts, because
all efforts are worthy, even when some unforeseen force defeats them.
I'll help you celebrate your mistakes, because they help you learn ten
times faster. I'll help you celebrate your successes, because real success
is the true expression of your genius and power.
You will learn the coaching process so that eventually you can do it
by yourself. However, you'll want to stay in touch with your coach to
keep the energy flowing and the movement going.
